Custom rim and tire e-commerce development

Build an ecommerce system tailored to your business, not the other way around.
Hungarogumi has 25 years of automotive wholesale and retail behind them, with an inventory of over 30,000 unique parts.
Beyond this, Hungarogumi is the exclusive distributor of ten brands in Hungary. The company required a digital presence worthy of this level, one that serves both its extensive network of business partners and retail customers, but the previous system was unable to provide this.

Two completely different customer types.
Resellers and end users search differently and consider different factors in their decision-making. A webapp was needed that could serve the needs of both groups without compromise.
Due to the vast product range and complex technical specifications, users struggled to find what they were looking for. This was also reflected in conversion rates: the company’s strong professional background was not translating effectively into the digital space.
Additionally, purchasing tires and rims requires knowledge of specific technical parameters (e.g., dimensions, compatibility data) to enable accurate searching. To support this, a user-friendly guided search solution was needed-one that assists users step by step and confidently leads them to the right products.

The Hungarogumi B2B and B2C e-commerce platform was built on a comprehensive and scalable technology stack designed for high-volume custom web application development. The frontend uses HTML5, TypeScript, React, TailwindCSS, CSS3, and JavaScript, with Webpack, Babel, and Gulp managing the build pipeline. The backend is powered by PHP, Symfony, Doctrine, and Go for performance-critical services, with MySQL as the database. The infrastructure runs on Docker and Ansible for automated deployment, served via Nginx.
